These do not work. Water flows through in less than 10 minutes.

No, it doesn’t seem to fit any water bottles I’ve tried to pair with. Not happy with purchase.

the water spikes are ok. they are larger than I expected; they should work ok; haven’t used them yet. I think I would prefer to get the glass globes that are pretty for indoor use. these plastic spikes are best used for outdoor plants.

Two problems: 1. It doesn’t fit bottled water bottles, only soda bottles, many of which are too heavy. 2. The water comes out pretty fast if you don’t have compacted soil. In our first pot, it just ran till the bottle drained

I may be returning them. I am not sure they are working as described. We have had rain where I live for a week. I tried using them indoors. The water comes out the sides at first . Then it stops when the plastic bottle starts to suck in.

Didn’t like that they only fit large bottles. Smaller bottles would by easier to hide in planters.

It is very specific for a large size pet bottle. I try to use a regular water bottle and doesn’t work. But besides that works

My empty water bottles wouldn’t screw into the spikes and when I “rigged” one to fit and inserted the spike into a planter, all the water emptied out in about three minutes…I just didn’t get the advantage of this at all. Complete wast☹️

I don’t know how well it works with a gallon or half a gallon water bottle but I do know an 8oz plastic water bottle it pours the water, all of it out at once, when you can do that with a water hose.

I attached the water bottle to the spike and then to two spikes – still the water flows out in minutes. Not good if you are considering watering plants while you are away even for a day.

the water drains extremely quickly which makes the product almost useless. The size is also quite big so only serves for deep soil.

Water is finished 3 minutes after being put in soil. I thought it gave a little water over days from an attached water bottle.

These make gradual watering so much easier. The water does not drain as slowly as I thought it would but it still works better than a single watering in the morning and evening. Living in AZ plants can easily get scorched. The suction causes the bottles to collapse and you cannot use the bottles with plastic saving caps because the tops are too short for the Evelots to stay on. This was a great deal and we are using them for all of our plants.

Does not fit on many water bottles. When placed in a watered pot, all the water goes right in! Not helpful if you want to use when away. Very disappointed!

The product is probably fine but requires too big a bottle for my plants. They are for 2ltr bottles which are bigger than my plants.

The water runs through too fast from the bottle. It should be small drops to keep the soil moist.

    Vina K. September 6, 2016 at 11:10 am

All the water goes through them in a matter of minutes instead of slowly watering. It’s like I just poured the water on the plant. Not what I was looking for.

These kind of spikes are SUPPOSED to water your larger plan slowly, so that if you need to leave for a few days, your plants would get some water while you are gone. These are cheap plastic with a couple holes in the sides (and in the bottom), so that when you fill it with water, it rushes out immediately. These are totally useless and not as described.
