Works well out of the box. I’ve just mostly been using the usb cord to charge it, but plan on taking it to Phoenix next week to see if it’ll stay charged in the sunlight.

I didn’t expect a whole lot from it at first, but it came out to be a very decent product. I haven’t used it much in the sun yet but it can definitely keep a decent charge on it after being fully charged via USB. I plan on letting it run completely dead and then using it in the sun just to see the big difference and I’ll be sure to write a review. I may also write a review a few months after this one just to give my insight on how well it can last. Overall though, I really like it, and it does seem to come in handy. Side note, I prefer solar powered chargers that have rechargeable batteries built in; It just makes more sense to have one.

I had it on my car dashboard in the hot AZ sun, for days, and it did not recharge, but holds the charge from wall outlet. A little slow on recharging phone/tablet, but similar to car chargers.

It worked great the first time I used it to charge my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge. Since then, it does not charge through solar power. It does seem to charge when connected to an outlet, which defeats the purpose of me needing the ‘solar powered’ backup battery. It also no longer continues to charge my phone when plugged into it. I have contacted Aduro because of the 1 year warranty and hope to get it settled or will be returning the item entirely.

Simple back up battery. No worries about it getting beat up with drops or weather since it is rubberized. Comes with a clip which is very handy. Havn’t been able to use the solar feature properly yet but it does work. Only gripe is that the charging led is really bright. So if you’re charging the battery at night put it face down. I drained the power pack and allowed it to solar recharge for 10 hours. The solar power pack did not recharge. I found if my device had more power than the power pack the power pack drained my device.

The solar panel does not seem to work at all. I’ve tried all summer, leaving out in full sunlight for entire days, and the battery level does not change. I’ve repeatedly tried contacting the company – they advertise a life-time warrantee – and get no response. The whole reason I bought this product was the solar panel, so I am very disappointed.

I loaned it to my daughter to take on a trip and apparently it would not recharge in the sun. They were in Thailand therefore direct sun was not the issue. I/we have not tried to recharge with USB cord yet but even if it recharges with USB that does not help as it was purchased to be a solar charger.
