Works well out of the box. I’ve just mostly been using the usb cord to charge it, but plan on taking it to Phoenix next week to see if it’ll stay charged in the sunlight.

Solar powered with two usb ports, can’t get much better than that. But they went n made it water, shock, and dust resistant. Includes a convenient latch for belt loops

I didn’t expect a whole lot from it at first, but it came out to be a very decent product. I haven’t used it much in the sun yet but it can definitely keep a decent charge on it after being fully charged via USB. I plan on letting it run completely dead and then using it in the sun just to see the big difference and I’ll be sure to write a review. I may also write a review a few months after this one just to give my insight on how well it can last. Overall though, I really like it, and it does seem to come in handy. Side note, I prefer solar powered chargers that have rechargeable batteries built in; It just makes more sense to have one.

I had it on my car dashboard in the hot AZ sun, for days, and it did not recharge, but holds the charge from wall outlet. A little slow on recharging phone/tablet, but similar to car chargers.

It worked great the first time I used it to charge my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge. Since then, it does not charge through solar power. It does seem to charge when connected to an outlet, which defeats the purpose of me needing the ‘solar powered’ backup battery. It also no longer continues to charge my phone when plugged into it. I have contacted Aduro because of the 1 year warranty and hope to get it settled or will be returning the item entirely.

Simple back up battery. No worries about it getting beat up with drops or weather since it is rubberized. Comes with a clip which is very handy. Havn’t been able to use the solar feature properly yet but it does work. Only gripe is that the charging led is really bright. So if you’re charging the battery at night put it face down. Great battery overall.

Not only does it not charge in the sun but when I hook it u[ to a USB power supply it will charge up only 60% i.e. 3 blue LEDs out of 5. I am trying to figure out if its possible to return this product but the Goupon site is not exactly user friendly!

I love that there is 2 USB ports and a clip to attach to a bag. Very lightweight, yet durable. The flashlight is an added bonus. Would recommend 🙂

I drained the power pack and allowed it to solar recharge for 10 hours. The solar power pack did not recharge. I found if my device had more power than the power pack the power pack drained my device.

The solar panel does not seem to work at all. I’ve tried all summer, leaving out in full sunlight for entire days, and the battery level does not change. I’ve repeatedly tried contacting the company – they advertise a life-time warrantee – and get no response. The whole reason I bought this product was the solar panel, so I am very disappointed.

I purchased 4 of these and they do not work as expected, and a co-worker also purchased 2 because we thought these where a good idea, and his don’t work either. The only thing it does is charge via a usb cable plugged into an outlet. I have placed them in direct sunlight after, depleting the battery, for over a week, and it has never charged the battery.

It not only can be charged by being plugged in but also by solar (the sun) only product of its kind so far I’ve seen. It also powers itself down if left too long just in case you forgot. I have allready ordered a second one for someone special in my life as I had to share.

I have only tried one of the solar power up banks (the other is a gift and has not been given to recipient yet). I loaned it to my daughter to take on a trip and apparently it would not recharge in the sun. They were in Thailand therefore direct sun was not the issue. I/we have not tried to recharge with USB cord yet but even if it recharges with USB that does not help as it was purchased to be a solar charger.

Would not hold a charge no matter how long I charged it. Was not fully charged when I got it. Tried charging for days and had to eventually return it.

Just received it and comes fully charged ready to go and works well so far. Well recommended for travelling. And that little extra light feature was a unexpected great great surprise. Anyone contemplating wether to buy it rest assured. It’s worth the price.

It came charged and ready to use. I leave it on my car dashboard while I’m driving. So far, it holds a good amount of charge and my phone never dies now 🙂

I love this charger, but the clip that comes with it does not fit in the hole provided. I have to use string to attach this to my bag.

Great battery pack however solar capacity is limited. Great value for 6000 mah and having the ability to charge 2 things at once.

unless the sun is shining on it, it loses it’s charging power pretty quickly. I’m going to continue to test that theory and will let you know if that changes.

It came charged which was great. The flashlight has gotten stuck in the on position a few times. The carabiner is pretty cheap. I don’t think the rubber covers for the USB outlet will keep water out.
